火灾分类的命名及其定义

下列命名是为了划分不同性质的火灾，并依此简化口头和书面表述。

A类火灾：固体物质火灾。这种物质通常具有有机物性质，一般在燃烧时能产生灼热的余烬。

B类火灾：液体或可熔化的固体物质火灾。

C类火灾：气体火灾。

D类火灾：金属火灾。

E类火灾：带电火灾。物体带电燃烧的火灾。

F类火灾：烹饪器具内的烹饪物（如动植物油脂）火灾。

Designation and definition of fire classification

The following designations are intended to classify fires of different natures and simplify oral and written expressions accordingly.

Class A: Solid fire. This material usually has the nature of organic matter and can produce burning embers when burning.

Class B: Liquid or fusible solid fire.

Class C: Gas fire.

Class D: Metal fire.

Class E: Electricity fire. Fire caused by combust matters with electricity.

Class F: Fire of cooking materials (such as animal and vegetable fats) in cooking utensils.
