10.0.4 灭火器应设置在位置明显和便于取用的地点，且不应影响人员安全疏散。当确需设置在有视线障碍的设置点时，应设置指示灭火器位置的醒目标志。

10.0.5 灭火器不应设置在可能超出其使用温度范围的场所，并应采取与设置场所环境条件相适应的防护措施。

10.0.7 灭火器应定期维护、维修和报废。灭火器报废后，应按照等效替代的原则更换。

10.0.8 符合下列情形之一的灭火器应报废：

1 筒体锈蚀面积大于或等于筒体总表面积的1／3，表面有凹坑；

2 筒体明显变形，机械损伤严重；

3 器头存在裂纹、无泄压机构；

4 存在筒体为平底等结构不合理现象；

5 没有间歇喷射机构的手提式灭火器；

6 不能确认生产单位名称和出厂时间，包括铭牌脱落，铭牌模糊、不能分辨生产单位名称，出厂时间钢印无法识别等；

7 筒体有锡焊、铜焊或补缀等修补痕迹；

8 被火烧过；

9 出厂时间达到或超过表10.0.8规定的最大报废期限。

10.0.4 Fire extinguisher shall be set at a place with obvious location and easy access, and shall not affect the safe evacuation of personnel. When it is really necessary to set it at the setting point with visual obstruction, eye-catching signs indicating the location of fire extinguishers shall be set.

10.0.5 Fire extinguishers shall not be set in places that may exceed their operating temperature range, and protective measures appropriate to the environmental conditions of the setting place shall be taken.

10.0.7 Fire extinguishers shall be regularly maintained, repaired and scrapped. After the fire extinguisher is scrapped, it shall be replaced based on the principle of equivalent replacement.

10.0.8 Fire extinguishers meeting one of the following conditions shall be scrapped:

1. The corrosion area of the cylinder is greater than or equal to 1/3 of the total surface area of the cylinder, and there are pits on the surface;

2. The cylinder is obviously deformed and the mechanical damage is serious;

3. The head has cracks and no pressure relief mechanism;

4. The structure of the cylinder is unreasonable, such as flat bottom;

5. Portable fire extinguisher without intermittent spraying mechanism;

6. Unable to confirm the name of the production unit and the delivery time, including the nameplate falling off, the nameplate is vague, the name of the production unit cannot be distinguished, and the steel seal of the delivery time cannot be identified;

7. The cylinder has repair marks such as tin welding, brazing or patching;

8. Burned by fire;

9. The delivery time reaches or exceeds the maximum retirement period specified in Table 10.0.8.
