特种设备安全监察条例 第二十八条

特种设备使用单位应当按照安全技术规范的定期检验要求，在安全检验合格有效期届满前１个月向特种设备检验检测机构提出定期检验要求。
检验检测机构接到定期检验要求后，应当按照安全技术规范的要求及时进行检验。
未经定期检验或者检验不合格的特种设备，不得继续使用。

Regulationson Safety Supervision of Special Equipment (2009 Revision), Article 28

A unit using special equipment shall, as required by thesafety technical codes for the periodic inspection, make a request for theperiodic inspection to a special equipment inspection and testing institutionone month before the period of validity of the last safety inspection expires.Uponreceipt of 3 request for the periodic inspection, an inspection and testinginstitution shall, in a timely manner, conduct the safety performanceinspection and the energy efficiency testing as required by the safetytechnical codes.Special equipment that has not been inspected periodically orfails to pass such inspection shall be suspended from service.
