4.1.1距下方相邻地板或者地面1.2m及以上的平台、通道或者工作面的所有敞开边缘应设置防护栏杆。

4.1.2 在平台、通道或工作面上可能使用工具、机器部件或物品场合，应在所有敞开边缘设置带踢脚板的防护栏杆。

4.1.3 在酸洗或电镀、脱脂等危险设备上方或附近的平台、通道或工作面的敞开边缘，均应设置带踢脚板的防护栏杆。

5.2 栏杆高度

5.2.1 当平台、通道及作业场所距基准面高度小于2m时，防护栏杆高度应不低于900mmm.

5.2.2 在距基准面高度大于等于2m并小于20m的平台、通道及作业场所的防护栏杆高度应不低于1050mm.

5.2.3 在距基准面高度不小于20m的平台、通道及作业场所的防护栏杆高度应不低于1200mm.

4.1.1 The open edge(s) of a platform, walkway, or work platform, with a height of 1.2M or more from adjacent floor or ground underneath, shall be installed with a guardrail. 

4.1.2 All open edges of platforms, walkways or work platforms shall be equipped with guardrails with toe-boards on the occasions tools, machines parts or article may be used.  

4.1.3 The open edge(s) of a platform, work way or work platform which are above or near dangerous equipments used for acid pickling, electrical plating and degreasing etc, shall be equipped with guardrails with toe-boards . 

5.2 The height of rails 

5.2.1 Where there is a platform, work way or operation site less than 2M high from the base level, there shall be guardrails with a minimum height of 0.9M.

5.2.2 Where there is a platform, work way and operation site more than 2M and less than 20m high from the base level, there shall be guardrails with a minimum height of 1.05M.

5.2.3 Where there is a platform, work way and operation site more than 20M high from the base level, there shall be guardrails with a minimum height of 1.2M.
