5.安装

5.2.1应急喷淋和洗眼设备宜安装在作业人员10s内能够到达的区域内，并与可能发生危险的区域处于同一平面上，同时需考虑在前往设备的路线中避免障碍物的阻挡。需考虑受害人员的身体状况和情绪（在视觉损伤时，有一定程度的痛苦和恐慌）以及现场人员援助的可能性。一般情况下，人以正常步速行走时，10s平均可以走15m。

5.2.3应急设备宜安放在接近危险的位置，但需考虑到使用设备时冲洗液可能存在四处飞溅的危险或其他危险（例如暴露的有电导体）。

5.3.1应急喷淋器的喷头宜安装在距离使用者站立面2080mm～2440mm高度范围内，且出液口中心距离任何障碍物的最小距离宜为410mm。

注：复合式装置中的洗眼器和洗眼／洗脸器，不视为在使用应急喷淋和洗眼设备中的一种“障碍物”。

5.3.2洗眼器或洗眼／洗脸器的洗眼喷头宜安装在距离使用者站立面838mm～1143mm高度范围内，且距离墙壁或最近的障碍物距离至少为153mm。

5.3.3应急喷淋和洗眼设备在安装时需考虑到使用者可从三个方向进入设备进行操作。

注：应急喷淋房不适用。

5. Installation

5.2.1 Be in accessible locations that require no morethan 10 seconds to reach. The emergency shower and eyewash equipment must belocated on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel must be free ofobstructions. In practical terms, consider that the physical and emotionalstate of the person in an emergency (there is a degree of distress and panic inthe case of visual impairment) as well as the possibility of onsite assistance. The average distance travelled by persons in 10seconds is approximately 15 meters.

5.2.3, The emergency shower and eyewash equipment maybe required to be located as close to the hazard as possible. However,consideration should be given to the possibility of splash of the flushingfluid or other hazards (such as exposed electrical conductors) when using theequipment.

5.3.1 The head of the emergency shower should beinstalled in the height range of 2080mm ~ 2440mm from the surface on which theuser stands. The center of the spray shall be at least 410mm from anyobstruction.

Note: Eyewash and eye/face wash stations in Combinationunit are not considered as an "obstacle" in the use of Emergencyshower and eyewash equipment.

5.3.2 The nozzle of eyewash and eye/face washstations should be installed in the height range of 838mm ~1143mm from thesurface on which the user stands and a minimum of 153mm from the wall ornearest obstruction.

5.3.3 The installation of emergency shower and eyewashequipment should consider that the usercan enter the equipment from three directions for operation.

Note: Emergency showerrooms are not applicable.
