7.1.1 可能坠落的高度超过500mm时，应安装护栏。

7.1.3 护栏的高度至少为1100mm，扶手的高度应小于或等于1100mm。扶手应平行于走线。

7.1.4 护栏应至少包括一根中间横杆或其他等效的保护结构。扶手与横杆,以及横杆与踢脚板之间的净距离不应超过500mm。

7.1.1 When the possible fall height exceeds 500mm, guardrail shall be installed.

7.1.3 The height of the guardrail shall be at least 1100mm, and the height of the handrail shall be less than or equal to 1100mm. The handrail should be parallel to the line.

7.1.4 The guardrail shall include at least one intermediate crossbar or other equivalent protective structure. The clear distance between the handrail and the crossbar, as well as the crossbar and the skirting board should not exceed 500mm.

7.1.5 When vertical bars are used instead of horizontal bars, the maximum horizontal clear spacing between vertical bars should be 180mm.

7.2.1.1 Guardrails should be installed as long as the rise of the stairs exceeds 500mm. When there is a lateral gap greater than 120mm on the outside of the inclined beam, in order to provide protection, a guardrail should be installed on the side of the stairs with this gap.

7.2.1.3 The staircase shall have two handrails. When the stairs are close to the wall or other solid structure, and the width of the stairs is less than 1200mm, if the gap between the stairs and the wall or other structures satisfies 7.2.1.1, it is allowed to install a handrail only on the unprotected side.
