职工患病或非因工负伤治疗期间,在规定的医疗期间内由企业按有关规定支付其病假工资或疾病救济费,病假工资或疾病救济费可以低于当地最低工资标准支付,但不能低于最低工资标准的80%。

Opinions to A Few Questions Regarding the Implementation of Labor Law of the People's Republic of China, Article 59

During the period when the employee is sick or injured out of non-occupational reasons, the enterprise shall pay wage for sick leave or disease relief fund in certain period of the treatment according to certain regulations. Wage for sick leave or disease relief fund may be lower than the minimum wage standard but not lower than 80% of the minimum wage standard.
