中华人民共和国生态环境法典（2026年8月15日起施行）第一百七十九条

排污许可证是对实行排污许可管理的企业事业单位和其他生产经营者进行生态环境监督管理的主要依据。

实行排污许可管理的企业事业单位和其他生产经营者应当遵守排污许可证的要求，按照规定运行和维护污染防治设施，建立生态环境管理制度，严格控制污染物排放。

Ecological and Environmental Code of The People's Republicof China (effective on August 15,2026), Article 179

A pollutant discharge permit shall serve as theprimary basis for the ecological and environmental supervision andadministration of enterprises, public institutions and other producers andbusiness operators subject to pollutant discharge permit administration.

Enterprises, public institutions and other producersand business operators subject to pollutant discharge permit administrationshall comply with the conditions of their pollutant discharge permits, operateand maintain pollution prevention and control facilities in accordance with therelevant provisions, establish ecological and environmental management systems,and strictly control pollutant discharges.
