第一百九十七条 企业事业单位和其他生产经营者应当按照国家规定对其排放的工业废气和有毒有害大气污染物进行监测，并保存原始监测记录。监测的具体办法由国务院生态环境主管部门制定。

Ecological and Environmental Code of The People's Republicof China (effective on August 15,2026), Article 197

Enterprises, public institutions and other producersand business operators shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of theState, monitor the industrial waste gases and toxic and hazardous airpollutants they discharge, and retain original monitoring records. The specificmeasures governing monitoring shall be formulated by the competent authority ofecology and environment under the State Council.
