从事水产养殖活动应当保护水域生态环境，排放水产养殖尾水污染物等应当符合污染物排放标准，防止污染水环境。

工厂化养殖和设置统一排污口的集中连片养殖的单位和其他生产经营者，应当按照规定对养殖尾水自行监测。

Persons engaged in aquaculture activities shallprotect the ecological environment of water bodies. The discharge ofaquaculture tailwater and other pollutants shall comply with the pollutantdischarge standards so as to prevent pollution of the water environment.

Enterprises, public institutions and other producersand business operators engaged in industrial aquaculture or centralizedcontiguous aquaculture with unified pollutant discharge outlets shall, inaccordance with the relevant provisions, conduct self-monitoring of aquaculturetailwater.
