中华人民共和国生态环境法典（2026年8月15日起施行）第三百四十四条

因发生事故或者其他突发性事件，造成或者可能造成海洋环境污染、生态破坏事件的单位和个人，应当立即采取有效措施解除或者减轻危害，及时通报可能受到危害者，并向负有海洋生态环境保护监督管理职责的部门、机构报告，接受调查处理。

Where an accident or any other emergency causes or maycause an incident involving marine environmental pollution or ecologicaldamage, the entity or individual responsible shall immediately take effectivemeasures to eliminate or mitigate the harm, promptly notify those who may be harmed,report the incident to the competent departments or authorities responsible forthe supervision and administration of marine ecological and environmentalprotection, and undergo investigation and handling.
