中华人民共和国生态环境法典（2026年8月15日起施行）第五百四十条

因发生事故或者其他突发性事件，造成危险废物严重污染的单位，应当立即采取有效措施消除或者减轻污染危害，及时通报可能受到污染危害者，并向所在地生态环境主管部门和有关部门报告，接受调查处理。

Where an accident or any other emergency incident causesserious pollution of hazardous waste, the entity responsible shall immediatelytake effective measures to eliminate or mitigate the pollution hazards,promptly notify those who may be harmed by such pollutions, report to thecompetent department of ecology and environment and other relevant departments inthe place where it is located, and undergo investigation and handling.
