生产、使用放射性同位素和射线装置的单位和其他生产经营者，应当按照国务院生态环境主管部门的规定对其产生的放射性废物进行收集、包装、贮存。

生产放射源的单位和其他生产经营者，应当按照国务院生态环境主管部门的规定回收和利用废旧放射源；使用放射源的单位和其他生产经营者，应当按照国务院生态环境主管部门的规定将废旧放射源交回生产放射源的单位和其他生产经营者或者送交专门从事放射性废物贮存、处理、处置的单位。

Entities and other producers and business operatorsengaged in the production or use of radioisotopes and radiation-emittingdevices shall, in accordance with the provisions of the competent department ofecology and environment under the State Council, collect, package and store theradioactive waste they generate.

Entities and otherproducers and business operators engaged in the production of radioactivesources shall, in accordance with the provisions of the competent department ofecology and environment under the State Council, recover and utilize disusedradioactive sources. Entities and other producers and business operators usingradioactive sources shall, in accordance with the provisions of the competentdepartment of ecology and environment under the State Council, return disusedradioactive sources to the entities and other producers and business operatorsthat produced the radioactive sources, or deliver them to entities specializingin the storage, treatment and disposal of radioactive waste.
