承包治理荒山、荒沟、荒丘、荒滩和承包水土流失严重地区农村土地的，在依法签订的土地承包合同中应当包括预防和治理水土流失责任的内容。

Where barren mountains, ditches,hillocks or wastelands are contracted for remediation, or where rural land inareas suffering from severe soil erosion is contracted, the land contractconcluded in accordance with law shall include provisions specifying theresponsibilities for prevention and control of soil erosion.
